Jamie's

Went to try Jamie's Italian at Vivo the other day with my bestie. I tried the 

Jools' Favourite Sicilian Tuna Fusilli.

 They served the herby breadcrumb on the spoon. So yuuuuumy!

and he tried the Grilled Pork Chop.

 (You guys have to try this). The pork is really thick and juicy. Best pork chop I've ever eaten. Not joking.

I love the food served here even though it is a tad expensive. I was pretty disappointed with the service tho. The staff weren't attentive and we've to wait for like 20 mins for our food to be served even though there weren't many people there. 

Watched Catching Fire and Captain Phillips. Catching Fire was worth watching but the ending sucks so badly hahaha. You guys should watch Captain Phillips. One of the best movie I've ever seen this year. Literally kept me at the edge of my seat throughout the entire movie. Haha.

Had an amazing night last night despite the fact that my heels broke at the start of the event + my lens were being a bij. I thought luck wasn't on my side yesterday till I won the 1st lucky draw prize hahahahahahah. I didn't know what to do when I heard my number being called out. My best friend looked at me and was like "IT'S YOU?!??!? I HATE YOU SO MUCH" HHAHAHAHAHAHA

Short update.

Finally my prelims are over. It  has been yonks since I last posted. To retain some sanity, I thought I'd blog a bit about what had happened in the past few weeks or months or so even though I can't really  remember what I've been doing for the past few months other than studying and schools.

Monday-Thursday generally compromises of school and tutorials. It's heading towards the pointy end of year already and I'm not going to lie, I can definitely feel the stress and workload piling up. 

Spent my birthday mugging at home cause I had to study my ass off for Social studies paper and O level English oral. Best birthday ever. :'( but I managed to squeeze in some time during the weekends to celebrate ma birthday with my couz and fam.

Anyway, my couz went to try the Yoshimaru  ramen challenge. Damn, the bowl was HUGEEEE. 3 portions of ramen, pork, tamago eggs, soup and condiments - He managed to finish em in 9 mins? And the fastest timing was like what 4 minutes? Insaneeee. Are you even human? I guess I'd probably finish it in like 1 hour... Lol.

the closer you look, the less you'll actually see.

So almost half of the June holiday is gone. But honestly, June holiday isn't a holiday after all. I've tons and tons of homeworks to do, tutorials and I've to catch up with my studies and study my ass off. Finally went to the dentist after 4 months and my mouth are hurting so damn bad right now. I really, really cannot wait to remove em but at the same time I don't. 

Anddddd, I went to catch Now You See Me the other day. All I can say is that, it's probably one of the best movie I've ever watched in my entire life. The movie is a great mystery thriller with just the perfect amount of comedic aspects in it. The plot is so original and well thought out and it keeps you guessing the whole time with new twists all throughout the whole movie. So, go watch it now before too many people spoil the plot for you. :-P

Hello, June.

Just got back from watching Fast & Furious 6 and damn the movie was dope. I simply cannot believe how much I enjoyed every single minute of this film.  What really pleasantly surprised me was how funny this film was. There was a few twists and comedy. Okay, I'm not gonna say too much bout this movie but if you're into crazy car stunts, fist fights, hot girls (?) HAHAH, cheesy acting, melodrama, fun, then this movie is for you.

Bangkok Jam// Wheelock

Went to try Bankok Jam earlier. 

-Steamed Garoupa with Garlic & Chilli- $23.00

-Seafood Phad Thai- $11.90

-Green Curry Chicken- $11.90

-Soft-shell Crab in Mellow Yellow Curry- $14.90

 

The food was great and the portion was decent. All in all, the food was worth the money. 

Nam Nam Noodle// Wheelock

-Flower Crab Noodle Soup- $13.90

There was a really really long queue but it was worth the wait I guess. Nam Nam was pretty much love at first bite for me. The price is reasonable and there is no service charge. I'll definitely go back.

Love Yourself

Finally I am free from exam (but not for too long). Hopefully there are still some people who bother reading my blog. And if y'all are reading this now, thanks for not thinking that this blog is the most boring thing on earth although I am probably the most boring human being ever. Hahaha. Had my last paper yesterday. Gonna receive my papers back tomorrow. Not gonna expect good results this time cause I honestly didn't put in much effort this time round. The last couple of weeks have been a little rocky for me.

Went for sushi buffet and watched The Big Wedding yesterday with Aishah. The movie really isn't all that big on entertainment. It's not that there weren't some good moments, because there were. But it could have been, and should have been, so much better. It wasn't bad, but wasn't anything special. Amanda Seyfried looked really really gorgeous in that movie.

Rushed out early in the morning on Mothers day to surprise my mum with these. The chocolate truffles was sooooooooooo good.
